Strictly Scrapbooking is so excited to be in its eleventh year in business!
I cannot believe it. I have had so many great things happen in my life and having my company is definitely one of them. Thank you to all of you who have made Strictly Scrapbooking a success. A special thanks to all of my wonderful staff. Cerritos and Torrance have 2 great managers, Maryann and Laurie, and without the two of them I would not be able to accomplish everything that needs to get done. To Yvette who runs my office: she makes everything come together behind the scenes. Thank you to all of my staff you are definitely my second family. You all mean so very much to me.
We have a very special group of talented people that work for us. I love how they make Strictly Scrapbooking a special place for our customers to shop. Our crops are always full and we have a great group of women that frequent our store every Friday. It is so nice to know that my store is where these women enjoy spending their evenings together. When they come in and are so happy to be in the store, it makes me smile.
Most of you know that 14 months ago Juan and I adopted our beautiful little boy named Jayden. He is getting so big, walking, talking, and just being cute. Every morning I love waking up to that little smile and him saying "hi". That makes my whole day. I am constantly after him making sure he does not get into everything. My little man is quick! He's keeping me young for sure.
Nekko, my oldest is now 19. Can you believe it? He was just a little boy when I first started the store. Nekko has grown into a fine young man. He is going to college and doing really well. He enjoys snowboarding and hanging out with friends.
My family is the most important part of my life. My mother and father have made me the women that I am today, because without them guiding me I would not be who I am today. I can always count on my two sisters, Lorraine and Annie, and call them whenever I need that sisterly love. My nephew, Chance is just a joy to be around. Jayden loves him. Actually, Chance was one of the first words he learned. It was really funny he said “Mom, Dad, and Chance.” Go figure...That shows you how much Jayden loves his cousin.
Thank you to my entire family for standing by me though all my crazy ventures in the last 11 years.
We have been doing scrapbooking cruises that have been very successful. We have 5 planned for this year. Our clients have had a wonderful time and look forward to sailing again. So check our website for details.
